Nutrition and Weight Control
NUTRITION There is so much information and advice “out there” that
people are often confused by contradictions and blinded by
science!! We offer a back-to-basics and down-to-earth approach
that helps clients easily adjust towards healthier patterns
of eating.
We offer a two-fold service relating to Nutrition:
- a Bodystat® reading to tell you how your body is currently
made up, in terms of water (and if you are dehydrated),
lean (muscle) tissue, and fat tissue, minimum calories required
daily and your BMI.
- advice on what foods would give you optimum health, taking
into consideration your lifestyle and any ongoing medical
issues.
“Sustenance” isn’t just about keeping you
alive – it impacts on your long and short-term health,
your strength and energy. Many common ailments and diseases – such
as high blood pressure, heart conditions and diabetes – are
linked in part to poor nutrition.
Each time you choose a meal, a snack or drink, you make a
decision that will affect your body in a positive or negative
way. Food provides medicinal properties as well as being the
body’s fuel.
We will analyse your current diet and levels of activity and
then prepare a programme to help you become fit and well, strong
and vital. We can also advise which vitamins and minerals would
best serve your needs and, for those who have never exercised,
provide the basics to tone up and raise your energy levels.
We’ll
give you a blueprint and support you all the way.
WEIGHT If you want to redefine your body we can offer a set programme,
or a 2-session kick-start covering nutrition and some Mindwork
to motivate you and keep you on track.
In our experience, at least one session of Mindwork is necessary
to help you stick to the programme. Those who rely on willpower
alone fare less well, reverting to old patterns fairly quickly.
Our clients who have had NLP and/or hypnotherapy are still
maintaining a steady weight loss and say they are finding it
less effort than other methods they have tried.
